AP CM YS Jagan is often hailed by his supporters that, he would never show his back to those who lay trust in him and follow him.Looks like the YSRCP chief is following the same principle even in the allocation of Rajya Sabha seats.
With few Rajya Sabha to fall vacant in the coming weeks, the YSRCP party needs to fill four seats as per their quota.
Businessmen-cum-politicians will be occupying two of those four seats.
According to party sources, Ramky Group Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, and BMR Group Beeda Masthan Rao (former MLA) are likely to represent YSRCP in Rajya Sabha.
Rami Reddy is often touted as few businessmen who have been very loyal to the party.
Even though he lost in 2014 general elections, he continued to take part actively.Even when Jagan could not accommodate him in 2019 elections, he maintained his silence.
Looks like this factor has helped him to get into the good books of the party chief.
Similarly, former MLA Beeda Masthan Rao switched from TDP to YSRPC recently in December 2019, after he lost in 2009, and 2019 elections.
He became the hot topic after the IT sleuths raids on his offices. It will be interesting to see, who will fill the remaining YSRCP seats in Rajya Sabha.
Beeda Masthan Rao fills the quota both as a BC-candidate too.
