But it is not true, warns the WHO.Recently the World Health Organisation director-general Dr Tedros Adhonam Gebreyses reiterated that young people are also in danger with the ongoing global pandemic.
Many countries are unlocking the lockdown restrictions and young people are planning for excursions.In the wake of this information, Adhonam has issued a warning stating that there is a high risk of Covid-19 transmission from person to person.
Young people should be more careful and they are not exceptional to the dangerous virus.He emphasized a few instances and warned that young people are also more likely to die with coronavirus like the elders.
According to WHO officials, Young people may have fewer symptoms.But that doesn’t mean they are safe.
Silently it may affect every organ in the body and worsen the health condition.Hence it is advisable to stay alert at least for a year, says an official.
