Kanyakumari 7 Sep : In the lead-up to the start of Bharat Jodo Yatra Rajasthan Chief Minister AshoK Gehlot on Wednesday claimed that the event was held to stop the polarisation in the community of the nation.
He said that the party was looking for Rahul Gandhi to be appointed as the chiefAt a press conference in the city, Gehlot said, "The BJP policies are about division of the country, and its dangerous to cause the nation to be on the edge of conflict.
The Congress will not permit it and this yatras goal is to combat the polarisation "If the situation continues to be like this , the people will be scared about their own lives "Rahul Gandhi is launching the marches with this message, and it is not too late to convince Prime Minister Modi to alter his policy." Gehlot stated the Rahul Gandhi has stated that he will follow the CWC and "now well persuade him to assume the role of the partys president because the challenges are immense.
" The party will strive for peace and harmony in the same way it has done for many centuries.It hopes that the people be able to connect to it the Rajasthan Chief Minister said.
Gehlot said that the country is weak because of communal issues and that the party is determined to fight for its rights.He declared that the Gandhi family has the most credibility, and that is the reason the BJP has been focusing its attention on members of the Gandhi family "The entire Congress party is hoping for Rahul Gandhi to be president, and he has stated that he will take note of CWC and the work of the party."
