Y S Jagan Arrested In Delhi

YSR Congress Party President Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy was arrested by Delhi police this evening.

YS Jaganmohan Reddy courted arrest after being stopped from marching towards Parliament along with his supporters Jagan is presently lodged at the office of Additional DCP in New Delhi and will soon be shifted to Parliament street police station.

Earlier in the day, Jagan staged a sit-in at Jantar Mantar to oppose the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.Jagan was joined by a number of party leaders and large number of activists.

Tension situation prevailed at Jantar Mantar as thousands of his party supporters raising slogans of ‘jai Samaikyandhra marched towards parliament and was arrested.Jagan Reddy made a direct attack on Congress president Sonia Gandhi, accusing her of playing a political game for the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh Other side, The bill for formation of a separate Telangana state is expected to come up for debate in Parliament tomorrow.
