Beijing, 28 December : , Xiaomi smartphone brand has patented a smartphone with dual cameras and a selfie camera.
According to GSMArena the device was patented by the Chinese National Intellectual Property Association, (CNIPA).
It features two cameras with a small horizontal display and a cover that has a smaller screen.
According to the report, this new flip phone will have an inside punch hole in the shape of a pill for two front-facing cameras.
It added that the SIM slot and USB-C are located at the bottom.The power key and volume knob can be found on the right side.
Many other brands of smartphones, such as Samsung, Huawei, and Motorola already offer products in this area.
Huawei recently unveiled the P50 Pocket, a folding smartphone in clamshell design.
It comes equipped with an external circular display measuring 1 inch.This allows for easy access to notification and widgets.
GizmoChina reported that Motorola, owned by Lenovo, is currently working on the third generation Moto Razr flip-foldable smartphone.
