Hockey match vs Korea: Women’s Asian Champions Trophy Hockey: India players test Covid-positive

Donghae (South Korea), December 8, 2008 : A member from the Indian womens hockey team that is competing in the Womens Asian Champions Trophy 2020 here has tested positive for Covid-19, the Asian Hockey Federation(AHF) stated on Wednesday.

Todays match between India and Korea is therefore cancelled.AHF tweeted that more information would be available soon.

The AHF didnt say if the Indian team would withdraw from the tournament or if they would play the remaining league games.An earlier match between India and Malaysia was cancelled because a Malaysian player, Nurul Faezah Shah Khalim, tested positive to COVID-19 upon arrival in the country.
