Woman minister in KCR cabinet

Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao indicated that his cabinet could be expanded next week.

This will be the first cabinet expansion of KCR after forming the government.

It is said that KCR will be taking 5 new ministers including a woman minister in to the cabinet in this expansion.At present, there are 11 ministers in the state cabinet including the chief minister.

The rules allow the chief minister to induct six more legislators into his cabinet.Since there is no woman minister in the cabinet, it is expected that Konda Surekha have chance to bag a berth.

Jupalli Krishna Rao from Mahabub Nagar district is the one who is in speculation for ministry.Jupalli is one of the critical TRS candidate who strongly built TRS party in his district.

Apart from this there are many other candidates are waiting for the cabinet posts.Jalagam Venkat Rao (Khammam district), Gampa Govardhan and Enugu Ravinder Reddy (Nizamabad district) are also aspiring for berth in the Cabinet.

Laxma Reddy and V Srinivas Goud are the front-runners from Mahaboobnagar district.One person most likely to be accommodated in these two.Initially KCR filled out all the ministries with his close aids and it also includes his family members KCR and Harish rao.Now in this expansion he is trying to cover other sectors where he can attract respective sections towards TRS party.The chief minister need to consider many equations like caste ,region into consideration.

Curretnly KCR’s cabinet has 4 Reddys, 3 Velamas (including KCR), 2 BCs, 2 SCs and 1 Minority.
