Bengaluru, Nov 30, : With a keen eye on the Asian Champions Trophy title title, the Indian women’s hockey team left here on Tuesday afternoon for Donghae in Korea.
The tournament will be held between December 5 and 12, and will feature India against China, Korea Japan, Thailand, Thailand, and Malaysia in a single-pool competition.

India will face Thailand in their opening match on December 5th.They will then play Malaysia on December 6th.Then, they will play hosts and defending Champions Korea on December 8th.

India will play China on December 9, and Japan on December 11.The final will be played on December 12 between the winner of the pool pool and the second-placed team.

Captain Savita, who was leading the team in the absence Rani, stated that the team was excited.

This tournament is our first after the Olympics, and we have a responsibility for it.There are many youngsters on the team, and they are looking forward to making their International debut.

“We cannot be complacent in exceeding our expectations in Tokyo.The Asian Champions Trophy will be an exciting start, and doing well here will be a good thing ahead of a busy year next year,” said the veteran defender.
