A day after Narendra Modi, Prime Minister, stressed the importance of quality debates within Parliament, P.

Chidambaram, former Union Minister, took a swipe at him on Thursday and asked if the PM would participate in that debate.The BJP has reacted to the ex-union ministerChidambaram tweeted on Thursday that he found it interesting to see the PM stressing the importance of quality discussions within Parliament.

Chidambaram also recommended setting aside a time for quality discussions.Now the question is: Will PM participate in any debates in Parliament? Congress members have been raising concerns about the fact that Prime Minister is rarely seen in Parliament.The BJP has retorted and asked, "Who creates the pandemonium within the House?" Gopal Krishna Agarwal, BJPs national spokesperson, stated that the Prime Minister tells MPs to take part in the discussions but the opposition causes a commotion.As you can see, in winter session the opposition did that as well.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister addressed a group of presider officers and suggested that separate times for Quality Debates be established.This would be a discussion in which dignity and seriousness traditions are strictly followed, he said.
