Do not sign any documents without having studied: Kerala Guv

New Delhi/Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 8 : Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan on Monday said that he will not sign any document without proper analysis.

He declared the news after the media reported that 11 Ordinances were waiting for his approval for re-promulgation since the deadline for renewal is on Monday , and he is currently away in the capital city of the country "I require time to put my brain to study all the Ordinances handed to me.It is not acceptable in the democratic system. In the past media used to be critical of the fact that the former president Fakrudhin Ali Ahmed would sign all Ordinances without examining the reasons behind it.Do you expect me to follow suit? asked Khan. After a few months, Khan is trying to challenge the Vijayan government, as in the past he refused to sign the Governors speech and then he did and threatened to take action against large quantity of personal staff for each Kerala Minister. After causing the issue, things eased out. After these incidents, Khan has again blown his top, leaving many wondering as to whether the Governor will make any action this time.In the meantime, the veteran Congress Leader and Senior Legislator Ramesh Chennithala has urged the Vijayan government to end the Ordinance Raj "No other state in the nation has floated as many Ordinances as the government here.

In 2021 alone the government floated 142 Ordinances and in the year that has just ended 14 have been released and now 11 have been handed to the Governor. This is an egregious breach of Article 213 of the Constitution and is in the least unacceptable," said Chennithala.sg/shb.
