WhatsApp adds safety features

New Delhi, November 23rd : .Metas instant messaging platform WhatsApp introduced two safety features for Indian users: Flash calls and ’Message Level Reporting.

Flash Calls allows new Android users to check their numbers using an automated phone call.This is an option for those who frequently change their phones.

WhatsApp claims that this option is safer because it happens within the app.WhatsApp users can report specific messages received using the Message Level Reporting function.You can do this by pressing the long-press button on a specific message to report it or block it.WhatsApp also offers the option to hide your profile photo, last seen and other information from selected people.It can also allow you to block anyone who may prove to be bothersome and offer two-step verification (2FA).WhatsApp released the Android 2.21.24.8 beta update on its beta channel.This shows that WhatsApp is currently working to implement message response notifications in its Android app.WhatsApps message reactions feature has been in development for some time now.It allows users to react to messages just like they do to comments and posts on Facebook.WhatsApp did not previously plan to inform users about message responses.
