In 75 years, we didn’t make as many progresses as possible: RSS chief

New Delhi : Nov 21, : Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat said Sunday that "we havent developed as much in the past 75 years.

" Bhagwat, speaking at Vigyan Bhavan, here, stressed the importance of the work, even though "we have strength and potential".

He stated, "We must walk the path to development if our goal is to progress.we didnt do that and thats what has kept us from moving forward.

" Bhagwat stated that India produced "eminent personalities and great leaders" more than all other countries (combined).He said, "Everyone loves to shout Jai Shri Ram slogans but we have to function and do work like Lord Ram.We also need caring and loving brothers like Bharat but we dont always follow that." The RSS Chief stressed the importance of the family system and stated: "If families maintain the values of discipline, behaviour, then the next generation of this nation wont diverge from its original direction." He spoke out about religion and said that people see religion as worshipping, but the real religion is service to humanity.
