Kabul, Nov 28, : Mullah Hassan Akhund, acting Prime Minister (PM), of Afghanistan’s interim government, stated that Afghanistan wants good relations with the international community.This includes the neighbouring countries. “The Islamic Emirate wishes to have good relations, economic connections, and co-exist all countries.”Afghanistan will not interfere with the internal affairs of any country.It is not our policy,” Hassan Akhund stated in his speech broadcast on Saturday night by the state-run Radio Television of Afghanistan.
According to Xinhua news agency, Hassan Akhund made his first address since August 15th’s Taliban takeover and September 7th’s formation of the caretaker government.
He stated that Afghanistan’s soil would not be used against any country.The new administration will not allow anyone from Afghanistan to use Afghan soil against any other country.
“No harm has been done to any country from Afghanistan, and no one will be harmed from Afghanistan,” he said.He said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan now focuses on rebuilding Afghanistan and that any pressure on Afghanistan will not be beneficial to anyone.
Hassan Akhund stated that women’s education is protected and that the Islamic Emirate respects women’s education rights.The Islamic laws will provide women with an environment that is safe for their education.
He also called on the judges, provincial governors, and police chiefs to provide the best service for the Afghans and urged them to take action against harassment.
“Those who harass ordinary citizens or those who worked in the previous government must be held accountable.
He said that it doesn’t matter what rank they hold, harassers should be disarmed immediately and the reports should be sent directly to him.
The acting Prime Minister called on Afghans to unite and rebuild their country, including its economy, with goodwill and brotherhood.
