According to the reports, at least 158 people killed and nearly 6000 people severely injured.The loss is enormous, and the Lebanon media stated ‘it is like Hiroshima’.
The main cause of the blast was, reserving 2,750 tonnes of Ammonium nitrate for over a period of 6 years.Pointing it out, Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan has warned the AP government about the Ammonium Nitrate stocks at Vishakha Port.
Sharing a press note on Janasena twitter, Pawan Kalyan has cited the continuous accidents happening at Vishakha port and told the city may become another Beirut if proper care has not been taken.Citing few media reports, Pawan Kalyan has also said that hundreds of Ammonium Nitrate have been stored illegally at the outskirts of Vijayawada, Kondapalli.
Stating that the imagination itself is heart burning, Pawan urged the local officials and the government to take immediate precautions on Ammonium Nitrate stocks.
