President of India Ram Nath Kovind participated in the Presidential Fleet Review held in Visakhapatnam.He was aboard the INS Sumitra on Monday, February 21, 2022.He conducted the Fleet Review.The maneuvers in which the warships salute the President are impressive.There were also maneuvers saluting the aircraft in the sky.
A total of over 10,000 Navy personnel participated in these maneuvers.It is learned that the President came to the AP on Sunday to participate in the Fleet Review.It is well known that in the capacity of Commander-in-Chief, it is customary for the President to conduct a Fleet review once during his tenure.
A total of 44 warships, Coast Guard ships and ships belonging to the National Oceanography are participating in the naval maneuvers.Submarines, state-of-the-art naval warplanes and helicopters are involved.
The Eastern Fleet Review and Milan events will be held in Visakhapatnam from Feb 21st to March 4th under the auspices of the Eastern Fleet.Hundreds of people from home and abroad are expected to attend.
The event was attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, AP Governor and other dignitaries.An international city parade from the Naval Coast Battery to the YMCA will take place on the 27th of this month.
