A video of a parrot interrupting a football practice session in Brazil has gone viral on social media.The video was shared by Brazil’s national team’s defender Bruna Benites on Instagram.
The incident took place when Brazil’s national women’s football team was practicing in a football field.A rogue macaw flew inside the field and then nonchalantly planted itself on Bruna’s head.
After which the parrot was lured away with the help of a football.Then, it flew to one of the nearby goalposts and exited the area.
Bruna shared the clip on Instagram a few days back, and since then it has gone crazy viral with over 38k views.She used the video to raise awareness about the fires raging in the Pantanal wetlands and the Amazon rainforest.
She wrote, “Taking advantage of what happened today, I, like Mato Grosso, could not help expressing my feeling of deep sadness for everything that has been happening in the Pantanal.Thousands of animals are losing their lives with the fires and if this continues to happen, scenes (rare) like the one you are seeing in this video, will become impossible to be seen.
