When it comes to films, Vijay Deverakonda is following the policy of ‘slow and steady wins the race’.For the past fourteen months, he has been busily occupied with one film which is Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Liger’.
He will have to work on this film for another four months.He is losing money by not doing more films.
But he is getting good revenue from the non-filmy business.Firstly, he owns a clothing line that is called Rowdy Apparel, and other than that, he is now starting a multiplex in Mahbubnagar which is his hometown.
First, it was Mahesh Babu to do so as he joined hands with Asian Cinemas to enter this arena last year that is titled AMB Cinemas followed by Allu Arjun with AAA Cinemas.The name is a mix of both Asian Cinemas and the actor’s name.
Now, Devarkonda is opening a three-screen multiplex and the work has begun recently.The theatre will be completed by summer.
The multiplex will be named AVD, with a mix of both of them just like the former ones.
The buzz is that it will dominate AMB cinemas in all ways.The theatre is built with high-end technology and 8D sound systems.Vijay is also planning to open this theatre with Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Vakeel Saab’ that is all set to arrive on April 9th.On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda will be launching his next film in the direction of Shiva Nirvana after July.The film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
The hero also has ‘Liger’ that will be releasing on September 9th.
