Hanoi, December 30, : .The Ministry of Health reported that Vietnam had 13 889 Covid-19 new cases Wednesday.
This included 16 imported and 13,873 locally transmitted Covid-19 cases.The Vietnamese capital Hanoi still had the most infections with 1,766.
This was followed by the southern Tay Ninh Province with 938 and the southern Vinh long Province with 917.
According to the Ministry, the total number of infections in the country was 1,694,874, with 31,877 deaths.According to Xinhua, there have been 1,302,542 Covid-19 cases nationwide, an increase of 38,260 since Tuesday.
According to Ministry, there have been approximately 148.2 Million doses of Covid-19, with 67.3 million additional shots.
Vietnam has experienced four waves of infected, complicated and increasing severity.The Ministry said Wednesday that the country had already recorded 1.7 million Covid-19-related cases in the last wave, which began late April.
