Hyderabad, Nov 24, : Venkatesh Dagabati, who starred in the Telugu remake ‘Asuran’ is now scheduled to appear in Jeethu Joseph’s directorial Drushyam 2’.The actor spoke about his role in the movie, which is a remake Malayalam hit “Drishyam 2”. Venkatesh reprises his role as a detective in ‘Drushyam 2’, a sequel to the crime thriller ‘Drushyam 2’.
Prime Video will release the movie as an OTT release on November 25, 2015.
Venkatesh spoke to the media about his experience working for Drushyam 2′ and what it takes to play a role like ‘Ram Babu.
Venkatesh answered a question about his role in “Drushyam 2” and said that he has enjoyed the role of “Ram Babu” quite well.
His role is not a middle-class man attached to his family.Ram Babu is a middle-class man.Venkatesh explains that the multilayered roles allow for a different Ram Babu depending on the situation.
The actor in ‘F2″ also hinted at Ram Babu’s different shades, saying that “Ram Babu appears pathetic when he seems helpless in certain situations.” He is actually a strong protector of his family which makes him mentally more powerful than ever.
“Drushyam 2” is more than how a man protects his loved ones from unplanned situations.
It also focuses on how emotions are interwoven.Emotions are not limited to the emotions of the hero or his family.
Venkatesh stated that the movie will focus on the parents of the villain who are unable to figure out how their son died, where his mortal remains are, as well as many other aspects.
Venkatesh stated that he is positive about OTT releases.”We are still experimenting.We are still trying to figure out what is right or wrong.
I made the movie, but the makers decided.They are very involved in the trade.The actor said that he would do his acting and let the makers use their experience in such things.”
