Seoul, November 20, : .A US military member stationed South Korea was taken into custody after refusing to undergo a field sobriety exam following a minor accident. According to Gangnam Police Station, the Air Force Staff Sergeant was arrested for not complying with police requests for a breathalyzer test and bumping into the car that had been parked in Sinsa-dong on Friday night.
After receiving a report by the owner of the car, police officers arrived on the scene and captured the staff sergeant.They chased the car for approximately 300m.
Yonhap news agency reports that the officer said the soldier was transferred to the US Forces Korea Military Police.
