DataCore, a US company, expands its India presence to hire more

Bengaluru : Tuesday 23 November 2003: DataCore -- an American software storage company that has recently acquired MayaData, a leader independent developer container-attached storage storage -- announced on Tuesday the opening of a Bengaluru office to house Datacore and MayaDataAccording to the company, Bengaluru is its second-largest global R&D center outside of the USA.

It said that it was looking at India as a source of multiple functions, including operations, marketing and becoming a net exporter for innovation and talent in order to continue global success.DataCore intends to employ over 150 Indian workers over the next 2 years, and will have 50% of its worldwide workforce there by March 2023.

David Zabrowski CEO DataCore, stated that while we are expanding our R&D center in India to become a functional centre of excellence, "we also view the Indian market as an important growth driver from a marketing perspective, operations and talent standpoint." According to the company, it is expanding its talent pool and offers a complete hiring program to drive storage solutions from India.
