Deoria (UP), Nov 29, : A youth was arrested by the Deoria police for posting a misleading photo on his social media profiles showing Uttar Pradesh Teacher’s Eligibility Test (UPTET).Aspirants resting on a platform.
Prince Yadav was taken into custody on Sunday night.

Shripati Mishra (Superintendent of Police), said that Prince had posted a misleading picture on his social media profile handle despite warnings from ‘UPPOLICE CHECK’, which is operated at the DGP headquarters in Lucknow.

Mishra claimed that Prince was spreading rumours and was arrested under the Information and Technology Act.

Shripati Mishra stated that the photo of Prince Yadav above was from another examination in Rajasthan.

Police also stated that the accused did not remove the image from his social media accounts despite numerous appeals and messages.

Soon after the UPTET examination was cancelled due to a paper leakage, netizens posted a photo on social media showing hundreds of aspirants sleeping on a platform.

The Uttar Pradesh Police tweeted a message claiming that it was a photo of Rajasthan.
