UP cops will receive CPR training to provide timely aid

Lucknow, Nov 28, : Police officers from Lucknow will receive training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), to be able save lives as quickly as possible.

Piyush Mordia is the Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP).He is the nodal leader of the programme.

The training will be conducted by Dr Aditya Kapoor, head of the department of cardiology at SGPGI.He stated that nearly two million people die in sudden cardiac arrest each year in the country.Dr.S.K.is the head of King Georges Medical Universitys cardiology department.Dwivedi and iCARE (Cardiac Arrest Resuscitation for All) will also train police officers.
