Chennai 11th September : The Tindivanam and Brammadesam police stations in Tamil Nadu’s Villupuram district have been awarded ISO: 9005 certification.Both stations also have a reception, garden mini library, and surveillance cameras.
The certificate document of ISO: 9005 states that the two police stations’ track record in the enforcement of laws prevention, detection and the investigation of crimes, maintaining of law and order as well as response to emergencies is in line with the requirements of the certificate.
Both stations received the Quality Council of India award for Workplace Assessment for Safety and Hygiene (WASH) to ensure safety and hygiene in the workplace.
Both stations have stepped amenities to make them more accessible to the general public.
Villupuram District Superintendent of Police, S.Shreenatha said to media members that both stations have received the certification to streamline station records, maintaining of cleanliness, and creating a welcoming environment for visitors.
