San Francisco, Nov 28, : Twitter, a microblogging site, has reportedly revealed several new features this year.These include Reactions and Downvotes, as well as Sorted Replies for iOS users. 9To5Mac reports that the Reactions feature is expected to launch soon according to Nima Owji (reverse engineer).The feature was first tested a few months ago.
This feature includes four new reactions: “tears, joy,” “thinking facial,” “clapping hands,” and “crying Face”.It is designed to allow users to show how conversations make them feel and give them “a better understanding of how their tweets are received.”
The reverse engineer was also mentioned in the report.This is another indication that this function will soon be released.
The report also notes that downvotes were also changed by the company.It even added a new tab explaining the process of downvotes.
After the September iOS launch, the company has now made its in-app tipping service available to all Android users over 18 years.
Twitter stated that the “Tips” feature was designed for users who want to receive financial support directly from their followers via Cash App, PayPal and Venmo.
