Twitter launches its first livestream shopping stream on November 28

San Francisco, November 23, : Twitter announced that it will host its first livestream shopping on Nov 28, micro-blogging platform Twitter.

The company stated in a blog post that they were conducting their first live shopping test in partnership with Walmart.They will kick off Cyber Week on Twitter with Jason Derulo, singer, songwriter and dancer.

It added that "Starting Sunday at 7pm ET, people will be able to shop on Walmart (on iOS or desktop) where Jason will host an hour-long variety show featuring electronics, apparel, seasonal decor and surprise guests.Twitter Livestreaming gives companies the opportunity to interact with their most important followers.

The ability to shop in this environment is an extension of attracting and engaging receptive audiences.The company stated that it had begun testing the Shop Module earlier this year with selected brands and was pleased to announce the launch of the module to additional merchants in the US within the next few weeks.

It is vital to create foundational products that support our global merchant community on Twitter.Therefore, we will be testing new ways to host merchant onboarding as well as product catalog management tools through the Twitter Shopping Manager.
