Tunis, Nov 28, : To prevent the spread of Covid-19 Omicron from the country, the Tunisian Ministry of Health announced new measures to allow foreigners to arrive in Tunis.All passengers arriving must show a certificate or a vaccination pass.
The Ministry released a statement saying that this decision applies to all non-resident passengers who are over 18 years old.
Xinhua reported that passengers over six years must submit a negative PCR test within 48 hours of take-off.
Tunisian Health authorities also imposed a 10-day confinement at one of the designated centers for Tunisians and foreigners residing in Tunisia, who have not completed their vaccinations.
All arrivals must immediately undergo a rapid test to detect Covid-19.
According to the Ministry’s latest figures, 175 Covid-19 cases were added to the list on Saturday.This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country to 717 163.
