The Telangana state cabinet met today at the Pragathi Bhavan to discuss various issues related to the state like heavy rainfall, floodwater management, water in reservoirs, irrigation, cultivation, Agriculture, crop loans etc.
The Telangana cabinet has decided to set up a cabinet sub-committee chaired by Minister Satyavathi Rathod to formulate an awareness policy on the status of orphanages in Telangana.The sub-committee comprises ministers Harish Rao, Sabita Indrareddy, Srinivas Goud, Talsani Srinivas Yadav, Koppula Ishwar, Gangula Kamalakar, Indra Karan Reddy, Jagadish Reddy, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and KTR.
Similarly, the Telangana state cabinet directed the Telangana state Medical Secretary to provide comprehensive details of children who have lost their parents during the corona pandemic.The Telangana state cabinet directed the officials to provide details from the District Collectors of all the districts.
Also, the state cabinet discussed the third wave and measures to be taken to curb the spread.
The Telangana cabinet discussed issues related to vaccination, pre-arrangements in hospitals and infrastructure in the wake of the third wave of coronavirus.In addition to this, the Telangana cabinet decided to waive off crop loans.
