Hyderabad, Nov 26th : , Asaduddin Obaisi, president of AIMIM, paid tribute to brave men who fought terrorists during the Mumbai terror attack 13 years ago. The Hyderabad MP took to Twitter in his tributes to the 26/11 anniversary.
Owaisi wrote, “Heartfelt thanks to our bravehearts that fought against terrorists in the attacks on Mumbai on 26.11.2008,”
An earlier tweet was made by the president of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, which was also on Constitution Day.He stated that the Constitution of India had given him tools to defeat injustice.
“On November 26, 1949, our elders adopted Indian Constitution.The Indian Constitution is a record of the dreams our elders saw for ourselves.It replaced rule by men by rule of law.”For the first time, a formal document not only protected us against state excesses but also from majoritarianism,” wrote a Lok Sabha member.
“This constitutional promise has been broken many times.It was especially problematic when it applied to Muslims, Dalits, or Adivasis.It’s worth fighting for.Constitution gives us the tools to defeat injustice for communities that have been historically excluded from power,” he said.
