Actor Sumanth the eldest grandson of late Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who recently scored another disaster with ‘Subramaniapuram’ movie joined hands with director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy for his next titled ‘Kapatadhaari’.However, this actor is now focused on taking unique scripts and not just commercial entertainers.
He is back now with a neo-noir thriller titled ‘Kapatadhaari’ where he will be seen playing the role of a traffic police and the trailer of it is unveiled by a happening couple of Tollywood, Naga Chaitanya, and Samantha.The story is about how a traffic cop finds bones of 3 people in a metro rail digging during his duty and starts investigating with his skills.
Sumanth has no authority so he makes his own mission to chase this mystery.The rest of the details and how the story will be unveiled will be the highlight of the film.
Barring a couple of repetitive moments, the whole thing looked slick and packaged well.The background score by Simon K King helps in elevating the suspenseful mood.The trailer shows us many scenes with questions but no details at all which will definitely lure the public into watching the film.
‘Kapatadhaari’ is a remake of the Kannada-language film ‘Kavaludaari’ and Nandita Swetha, Jaya Prakash, and Vennela Kishore form the supporting cast.In terms of recreating the prior film, the makers have done a good job, and looks like they haven’t edited the script even a bit since it was a super hit.Incidentally, the movie is also getting a Tamil remake which has Sibi Sathyaraj in the lead. Dhananjayan under Creative Entertainers banner is bankrolling this project.The makers are yet to reveal the release date as the film will be having a theatrical release.
