Top Essex sponsor pulls out after allegations of racism by a cricketer against the county side

London, November 24, : In the wake of racism allegations that have recently hit county cricket, one of Essexs main sponsors has cut all ties with the side.

Jahid Ahmed, a former Essex County bowler of medium pace, claimed Tuesday that he was subject to racist abuses while playing for the team.The 35-year old follows Maurice Chambers and Zoheb Sharif, who both claim that the team discriminated against them.
