Chennai, November 21st : .A Perumbakam woman aged 55 is said to have killed her husband to achieve immortality. Nagaraj’s daughter, who was an IT professional, returned home to find her father missing.Lakshmi didn’t inform her.After constant pestering, she finally learned that her father wanted to be buried alive in order for him to attain immortality.
After visiting several temples in Tamil Nadu, Nagaraj (59), told his wife that he had been communicating with God through the priest and that he was speaking directly to God.Nagaraj had built a small temple outside their house and was able to give prophecies.
According to police, Nagaraj complained of chest pains on Tuesday November 16th.
He then asked his daughter to have him buried alive, so that he would attain immortality.
Lakshmi called 2 labourers after Nagaraj was gone.
She said that she wanted to dig a large pit.Nagaraj was still unconscious when she buried him on Wednesday, November 17.
The body was removed from the pit by police in the presence of RDO, and the postmortem report was sent to it.Perambakkam SHO stated to IANS, that Nagaraj’s body would be revealed in the postmortem report.
