Mumbai 31 August : For Marathi actor Prathamesh Parab, his return to the cult Marathi film franchise “Timepass” with its third installment was a return to home.”Timepass 3″ is directed by Ravi Jadhav, the third film in the franchise, features Prathamesh Parab as well as Hruta Durgule in leading roles.In a discussion about the film, Prathamesh Parab declared, “Timepass 3′ is one of the films that is close to my heart.Returning to this franchise felt like coming home.I am grateful to be part of this massive entertainment.”
Director Ravi Jadhav came up with “Timepass” in 2014.He followed up with the sequel in 2015.The first film was a story of the love of two teens, Dagdu and Prajakta, which was portrayed by Prathamesh Parab and Ketaki Mategaonkar.
The sequel, ‘Timepass 2,’ was released 15 years after the first and featured Priyadarshan Jadhav as well as Priya Bapat.In the third installment of the series the story is retold with an older Dagdu who is played by Prathmesh Parab.
The film is set to debut digitally on ZEE5 on September 16.The film will be screened on September 16.Dagdu who finally passed his class XII test is now set to enter the college.Dagdu’s determination of getting rid of his past as a gangster and beginning fresh is constantly questioned by those around him who believe he has no future.
Director Ravi Jadhav said in a statementthat “Timepass is the largest and most popular franchise in Marathi cinema.Each film has been created with lots of spirit, humour and good intentions, as well as the goal of entertaining.
So, we hope our efforts are put into the latest installment, Timepass 3 reaches more and more people through its digital release and will be an absolute hit, just as its predecessors.
