Good-looking people have been hounded: Sisodia’s comments on CBI raids

New Delhi, Aug 19 : Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday branded the current Central Bureau of Intelligence (CBI) raid on his home "unfortunate" and added that "those who are doing great jobs for our country are targeted".

False accusations are being made against each of us.The truth will be exposed in the courtroom," Sisodia, who also holds the portfolio for education and is also the education portfolios chief, said.The CBI was conducting raids on 21 sites in Delhi as well as six states in connection with the allegations of irregularities in the Delhi Excise Policy.

Sources have claimed that the CBI team that was at Sisodias home was "grilling Sisodia and scanning different documents".In response to the raids Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal posted on Twitter and stated that he would not release any information "The day that the most reputable news publication in America, NYT has praised Delhis model and published Manish Sisodias picture on the front pages, the Centre has sent the CBI to his home.
