New Delhi : , Nov 22, 2012 : The launch of ‘1232KM: Corona Kaal Mein Asambhav Safar’, written by Vinod Kapri and published by Sarthak Prakashan, an imprint by Rajkamal Prakashan Samuh, was held at India Habitat Centre.Ritesh Kumar Pandit and Rambabu Paandit were among those in attendance.
They are two of seven migrant laborers featured in the book.Ritesh Kumar Pandit and Rambabu received felicitations and were given books. Smita Sharma, journalist, and Yogita Bhayana, social activist, were in conversation after Saturday’s launch with Vinod Kapi, Ritesh Kumar Pandit, and Rambabu Pandit.
The journey of seven migrants who were working in migrant camps during 2020’s lockdown was followed by the author.
They cycled on bikes from Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) to Saharsa (Bihar).
