Abu Dhabi, November 22nd : .Team Abu Dhabi won three consecutive matches with an impressive four-wicket win over Deccan Gladiators at the Abu Dhabi T10 Cricket Stadium.
With a run total of 98, Danny Briggs (13 runs not out) held firm to score a match-winning six when Andre Russel touched the boundary rope.

Abu Dhabi won the toss, and chose to bowl first in the first match of the day.Fidel Edwards took one wicket and Naveen ul-Haq the other.After struggling to get out of trouble at 18/5, Hasaranga de Silva (33 runs from 18 balls), and OdeanSmith (34-5 runs each from 11 balls) brought the Warriors up to 97/9.

Team Abu Dhabi fell to 51/5 in their pursuit.While Jamie Overton, Briggs and Hasaranga de Silva kept Abu Dhabi on the track, Hasaranga de Silva was spinner.

Abu Dhabi was still 31 runs behind Russell, but Overton had taken 17 runs from Russell’s penultimate.

Overton scored nine runs from the five first balls of Hamid Hassan’s last over.He was injured.Anwar Ali took his place to bowl the first ball of the match against Briggs.

Briggs needed five runs to win the match.Anwar was launched over square-leg by Briggs, but Russell appeared not to be clear.

Television replays revealed that Russell had been in touch with the boundary rope when he returned the ball into play.

Briggs stated, “It was tight and fluid all the way through.Jamie did an exceptional job at the end to bring us closer.”

Overton was chosen as the player-of-the match.

The second match saw Delhi Bulls defeat Chennai Braves with five wickets, to win their third tournament victory.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa had a fifty with 64 runs out of 31 balls.Mark Deyal scored 29 runs from 19 balls to help the Braves reach 124/2.

Dwayne Bravo scored 43 runs in 17 balls and played a captain’s knock.Eoin Morgan contributed 26 runs (12 balls) to help the Braves reach their target.Bravo was named player of the match.

After beating Northern Warriors five wickets, Bangla Tigers scored their first point in the match.

Total runs scored by the Warriors were 126/4.Rovman Powell scored a fifty with 63 runs in 27 balls.

He was assisted by Moeen Ali (24) and Samit Patel (20 not out) from 13 balls.Will Jacks, who was chasing the ball, hit a fifty with 57 runs from 22 balls.He and Benny Howell (35) not out of 11 balls got there in 9.1 innings.Jacks was named player of the match.
