Tharoor is looking to improve air connectivity

Thiruvananthapuram August 31, : Shashi Tharoor, as the Lok Sabha member from Thiruvananthapuram has taken the initiative to hold a conference with about 30 senior officials of the aviation industry to enhance air connectivity in the region on Friday.

Tharoor who will be the Chair of the Summit He said that this summit is one that is primarily focused on developing an extensive strategy to improve connectivity of the air to and from the State Capital Region (SCR) "Southern portion of India is bustling with business activity and is in the midst of rapid change fueled by massive infrastructure projects that are currently in progress.The main focus of the summit will be on the State Capital Region (SCR) which includes Thiruvananthapuram as well with Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts, in southern Tamil Nadu comprising Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli that together hold enormous potential across different domains."
