San Francisco, November 23rd : , Tesla’s electric car manufacturer Elon Musk has begun pushing an update to its fleet (10.5) for Full Self-Driving Beta. The new version, according to Electrek (auto-tech website), includes several interesting features.
Tesla’s ability to detect static worlds by up to 13% through the deployment of a brand new auto labelling system, which used 165,000 videos.
The report stated that improved detection of signs and cones will occur by revving the generalised static objects network using 15,000 additional video clips, and by adjusting overweighting and oversampling strategies.
Shadow mode now supports emergency collision avoidance maneuvering.
The update also allows for lane changes away from merges, when it is safe.
Tesla is slowly rolling out FSD Beta.
This is the early version of Tesla’s self-driving technology currently being used by Tesla owners and its safety test score.
Although the software allows the vehicle to autonomously drive to the destination specified in its navigation system, the driver must remain alert and be ready to control the vehicle at all times.
