San Francisco, December 5, : .Tesla, owned by Elon Musk, has begun to push version 10.6 of its Full Self-Driving Beta software update — version 10.6 — into its fleet.It features improved object detection.According to Electrek, the company has begun to promote a new FSD Beta version to US owners with a safety score up to 98.
According to the company, the update will bring improved object detection network architecture for non VRUs (e.g.cars, trucks, and buses, seven percent higher recall, 16% lower depth error, and 21% lower velocity error for crossing vehicles.
The report also stated that it brings a new visibility network, with 18.5 percent less mean relative error.
The company stated that it allows for more longitudinal alignment during mergers by incorporating modeling of the merge region end.
The software allows the vehicle to drive autonomously to a destination specified in its navigation system.However, the driver must remain vigilant and ready to control the vehicle at all times.
