Tesla offers rare denial of legal head quit

New Delhi, Aug 18 : Tesla on Thursday made a rare public statement on a news report that claimed David Searle, head of legal, had quit the electric automakerOn Twitter Elon Musks company Tesla stated that the story was "false".

David Searle has not left Tesla," the electric automaker claimed in the form of a tweet.Musks company is famous for not responding to media reports, nor making any press release since all fighting is handled entirely by Musk himself, via Twitter.

As per the news report, Searle left his position as Teslas head of legal just one month ago "Dinna Eskin, who is a deputy general counsel for the business, has been appointed the job," the report had stated citing sources.The report also said that Searle was in charge of the investigation into the suspicious purchase of "special glass" which reportedly resulted in the firing of several employees within the business.

Tesla has been investigating since last month Omead Afshar as its CEO who is the official responsible for the production and construction of Giga Texas.The internal investigation revolved around the executives role in the purchase of difficult-to-find construction equipment.
