Telugu anchor arrested for abusing teacher

A popular Telugu music channel anchor was arrested for abusing a teacher in a road rage in Begumpet.MAA Music channel anchor and VJ ‘LoBo’ alias Mohammed Khayyum was booked for allegedly abusing a woman .

LoBo, as he is popularly called on television, apparently abused the victim for not giving way to his bike.According to reports, Lobo was proceeding to Secunderabad from Ameerpet.

When he is crossing at IBP petrol a private school teacher riding a scooty, was not giving a way to our anchor to race ahead.Frustrated with this the anchor got into argument with the lady.

This altercation turned big with both the parties reacting at each other, and finally the girl lodged a complaint with Begumpet police station.Based on a complaint, Begumpet police registered a case under section 509 of the IPC and arrested the accused.

Cops said Lobo was taken into custody, and he admitted the incident.He was sent to judicial custody.

"During the argument, Lobo abused the woman using derogatory language and she lodged a complaint against him.He wasn’t drunk" Begumpet inspector M Prabhakar Reddy said.
