She is well known in Telugu for films like Kanchanamala Cable TV,Neeku Naaku, Balakrishnas Adhinayakudu.She has done an item song in Ravi Tejas Balupu and will be doing another in Powerstars Sardaar Gabbar Singh.Now the latest news is, Laxmi is making her debut in Hindi with Julie-2.

As you know the first part of Julie was an erotic film, Julie-2 is expected to be another romantic drama.Laxmi Rai is playing a role of an aspiring actress.

Sticking to the content, Laxmi will act in few bold & hot scenes.She even confirms that for the first time she will be wearing a Bikini.

"There is a bikini scene in the movie, and given my broad frame, it takes a lot of work to get into that bikini mode.On screen, you just cant look even a wee bit fat while sporting a bikini.

It is something that I havent done before and am really looking forward to it," says Laxmi Rai.
