State Planning Commission Vice Chairman Boinapalli Vinod Kumar Strong counter to YS Sharmila for criticizing the state government on farmer insurance.Sharmila was criticized for being completely ignorant.
Speaking to media on Friday, he said that YSR TP leader Sharmila was talking about lack of understanding about farmer insurance and that she should know the facts first and then talk about farmer insurance.He said the ambitious farmer bond and farmer insurance schemes undertaken by the state government were being successfully implemented in the state.
Vinod Kumar said the state chief minister KCR had persuaded LIC, a central public sector undertaking, to implement farmer insurance.He said that according to the LIC and General Insurance regulations, the insurance facility is available only to those below 60 years of age and the farmer insurance policy is made as per those rules.
Did you know that various schemes, including insurance implemented by the Center and in many states, are applicable only to those below 60 years of age he asked Y S Sharmila.
Vinod Kumar said that Sharmila was saying what came to her mind without knowing the facts and that it was not a good practice.
How can Sharmila praise and criticize such schemes which are not available in any other state in the country, he said.
