Telangana sanctions Rs 22.25 cr for farmers who are killed in agitation against 3 laws

Hyderabad, Nov 29th : On Monday, the Telangana Cabinet approved Rs 22.5 crore to provide financial assistance for the families of farmers who were killed in the nation-wide agitation against three controversial, now withdrawn, farm laws of Centre.

KCR, as Rao is commonly known, demanded that each family of these farmers be paid Rs 25 lakh by the Centre.He claimed that the Narendra Modi government had brought the three laws to the farmers deaths.

KCR responded to criticisms by opposition parties about the state governments inability to pay compensation to farmers who have died in the state.He claimed that there is no scheme like Rythu Bhima in Telangana.
