Telangana IS agent dies in Syria

Hyderabad links with terror outfits exposed once again.

As per reports an engineering student from Hyderabad, who joined the terror outfit Islamic State (IS) has died fighting in Syria.

According to reports a 28-year-old Mohammed Atif Waseem died about two weeks ago and the family received his death news via email.The family received an email in Arabic purportedly from the IS on April 24, informing them about Waseems death in fighting.

Waseem family hailed from Manchiryal in Karimnagar district and they settled in Hyderabad.He studied in a convent school in Manchiryal and later studied engineering in a college in Hyderabad.

He left for London last year to do Masters where was influenced by the IS ideology.Waseem had fled to Syria from London.

Waseem was reportedly engaged to a Hyderabadi girl.He had even telephoned her before leaving for Syria in March this year to convey his decision to join the IS.
