TDP lawmakers march to Andhra Assembly in demand of a reduction in the fuel tax

Amaravati : Nov 18 : Telugu Desam Partys (TDP) leader and national president N.Chandrababu Naidu, along with his party legislators marched to the state Legislative Assembly to protest the anti-people policies implemented by Jagan Mohanreddy.

TDP members raised slogans against the YSRCP regime, holding placards that criticised the YSRCP for not offering any relief for the common man in the face of an abnormal rise in prices.TDPs chief demanded the government stop sticking to its guns and reduce petrol and diesel prices.

He claimed that fuel prices were the highest in the country and this is leading to an increase in other commodities which will add to the burden for the average person.He demanded the government reduce the electricity tariff, and withdraw the increase in municipal taxes.

Former chief minister claimed that peoples income had fallen but that the government was still imposing a financial burden by increasing taxes.The former chief minister said that the government should reverse its decision to collect garbage tax.Chandrababu Naidu lamented that Jagan was causing great suffering and making people miserable.The high electricity prices were caused by the state government, he said.K.Atchannaidu and Nimmala RAManaidu were TDP MLAs.Gorantla Butchaiah Choudary, Gorantla Butchaiah, and other TDP members took part in this foot march.

Placards were held by the protestors, which highlighted the YSRCP governments failings in welfare, road maintenance, remuneration for farmers, and other issues.TDP lawmakers have criticized the ruling partys policy regarding the merging of aided education institutions.

TDP members protested against the "drugs and mining" mafia, and held Jaganmohanreddys regime responsible for all the destruction in the State.Chandrababu Naidu, his party members and Venkatapalems NTR statue were present earlier.
