“Task will not be finished” CJI-designate Justice Lalit during Amrapali case hearing

New Delhi, Aug 22 : Chief Justice of India (CJI)-designate Justice U.U.

Lalit during the trial in Amrapali Case on Monday stated that the case would not be complete, given that he is scheduled to retire in November and a new bench could be formed to take on the caseIn the hearing in the case, Justice Lalit said this matter was initiated by the court of Chief Justice, and it will be transferred to the Chief Justices Court and he scheduled the case for a hearing on the 3rd of September.Justice Lalit will take charge as the Chief Justice of India on the 27th of August.
