Abu Dhabi, Nov 30, : .Team Abu Dhabi captain Liam Livingstone hailed Abu Dhabi T10 as the “most instinctive format” in cricket and believes it can be used to aid other forms. Livingstone has been in great form with bat and bat for Team Abu Dhabi sofar, with only Rovman (294) scoring more runs that the England all-rounder (259).He has also bludgeoned a league record 28 sixes across nine innings with the bat.
Livingstone is also contributing with the ball.He took seven wickets for Team Abu Dhabi, who topped the table after nine matches.
Livingstone is now enjoying his first taste in the tournament.
He explained that it was the most intuitive format of the game.”You can plan everything you want, but you don’t know what’s coming.This format is really fun to play in.
“It’s cool that people are supporting it and there’s definitely an enormous future for it in this game.T10 cricket will make T20 cricket more exciting and improve T20 cricket.We are seeing teams get 130-140 for two or more in this format, and if you start incorporating that into T20 cricket we will start to see scores of 200-220-plus.
Team Abu Dhabi has already secured their top four spot, which guarantees them a place at the knockouts.
A win over Delhi Bulls on Thursday would secure the first position.
Livingstone believes Team Abu Dhabi can win the title.
He said, “I think we’ve played some interesting cricket.” “We didn’t always get it right, and you’re never going to always get it right in T10 Cricket.But I think the way we’ve played – where we tried to go out and take as many wickets and hit as many sixes — is entertainment and the best way I believe to win games.
“Ww’ve assembled a strong team and knew we had a good chance to win the tournament, but it’s T10 cricket so anyone can beat anybody on their day.We’re going have to be lucky, brave, and continue playing great cricket like we have.
