Sylvester Stallone to star in drama series “Kansas City”

Los Angeles, December 8, 2008 : Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone has moved into scripted TV.He is set to star as the lead in the drama series "Kansas City".

Stallone plays him and he is forced to move to Kansas City, Missouri.Present day: Legendary mobster Sal must reestablish his Italian mafia clan in Kansas City, a modern, straight-shooting city.Sal meets unexpected and unsuspecting people along his unconventional path to power.Along with Ron Burkle, David C.Glasser and Bob Yari from 101 Studios, Winter, Sheridan and Stallone will serve as executive producers.Winter will also be the showrunner.

A writers room is now up and running.Next, Stallone stars in the superhero film Samaritan & Guardians of the Galaxy 3.It is scheduled for a 2023 release.Glasser, 101 Studios CEO, stated that Taylor is a prolific creator due to the multi-dimensional characters he creates, and the complex worlds he constructs.
