The health department is concerned about the rise in dengue cases in Karnataka and Bengaluru over the past two months.

According to the health department, 544 cases of dengue have been reported in the state within the past 15 days.People are advised to be aware of symptoms and to avoid infection.

According to sources from the health department, 5,729 people have reported symptoms of dengue fever.The state has seen an increase in dengue cases in 14 of its districts.Five people have already succumbed.
